Lesley Pearse always writes a good story, with well fleshed out characters and brings in a lot of history of the time in which she is writing, which I find interesting. I have read many of her books over the years and this one was another great read. Recommended.

Very well researched and written. Never read any of this authors books previously, but very impressed and look forward to further novels. Great storyline, could not put the book down. Certainly recommend anyone to read this fascinating novel.

Read all of Lesley's books they are all so brilliantly written and this one didn't disappoint, once I started reading it just couldn't put it down.

By the mid-sixties she was living in London, sharing flats, partying hard and married to a trumpet player in a jazz-rock band.
