Portal Magic: A Rhaptaverse Novella

He would have the most powerful magic of all – if he could figure out how to use it.

In the hidden city of Rhapta, magic is everything. Every student looks forward to the day when their powers will manifest. But the entire class has their powers – and Ashar is the only one left with no magic.

Bullied relentlessly by his classmates and faced with a bleak life of poverty and laborious jobs, Ashar’s only hope seems to lie in his skills as a thief. But after a day of bullying causes him to run away and seek refuge in a janitor’s closet, he emerges hundreds of miles away in the human world – and he discovers the shocking truth about his powers.

But few students have ever left Rhapta before – and surviving in an unfamiliar world is no easy task... especially when he has no idea how to control his powers.
