The app seems to have gotten worse... seems to take FOREVER to connect to whatever Roomba I'm trying to control (I have 3 of them) or it just doesn't connect at all. I also guarantee it's not my internet or network connections... so I blame the app or the iRobot servers. on a positive note, It seems there has been some extreme mapping improvements from the last time I ran it. It's near perfect. What I really want is the ability to edit the map manually.

I'd say that the app is OK. Setup was a nightmare, it took many many attempts to connect my i1 to the WiFi. It just wouldn't connect to my network. In the end I took it to an isolated 2.4ghz WiFi network with the same SSID, set it up there and brought it back into the house. So probably can't put all the blame on the app, it's just the help was not helpful. After that no real issues. I can set the robot off, it does its job & lets me know when it's full, trapped or in need of a clean.

The app used to be okay despite some user experience issues. Now it's completely useless as it keeps telling me it can't connect with the Braava jet mop because it's offline ad the battery ran out. It literally just finished a 30 minute job, the battery is fine, and it's sitting in the docking station. So the device is connected to WiFi and the battery is charged -- but the app can't connect to it. Which makes the app useless / redundant.
