Sector Analog Watch Face

Sector is an analog watch face on pure black. Twelve geometric numerals in bronze circle the dial, and the one for the current hour lights up in your theme color, with a sixty-degree band of light on the rim centered on it. You can tell the hour from across the room before you look at the hands.

ON THE DIAL

- Twelve hour numerals; the current hour glows and the rim lights a sector around it
- A colored hour hand and a long ivory minute hand that reaches the sixty minute marks, so the exact minute is easy to read
- Weekday and day at 3 o'clock, in your watch's language

SEVEN COMPLICATIONS

Press and hold the dial and tap Customize.

Three data complications sit at 12, 6 and 9 o'clock. Out of the box they show battery, steps and heart rate. Each one takes short text or a progress value from any app, shows that app's own title or icon above the reading, and can be left empty. A progress value appears as its number; there is no gauge or ring.

Four app shortcut complications sit between them, at roughly 1:30, 4:30, 7:30 and 10:30. They start empty and draw nothing until you pick an app; then the app's icon appears and one tap opens it. They take icons only, not text.

What a complication shows comes from the app behind it. Heart rate needs the watch's own permission.

YOUR CHOICES IN CUSTOMIZE

- Color theme: Amber, Ice, Coral, Mint or Violet. The color runs through the lit hour, the rim sector and the hour hand.

ALWAYS-ON

On the always-on screen the rim, the complications and the shortcuts switch off. Gray 12, 3, 6 and 9, thin gray hands and the day stay on pure black.

GOOD TO KNOW

The Customize labels are in English in every language. There is no phone app, no account, no ads and no subscription.

Buy it on your phone, then open the Play Store on your watch, where it is waiting in your library. Press and hold your current face, swipe to Sector and tap it.
