Split Hybrid Watch Face

Split is a hybrid dial cut in two. Three brushed-steel spokes divide the face: an analog clock with a full minute ring rides the top half, and a big digital time sits across the bottom. Steps, heart rate and battery live in the pockets between the spokes, each with its own progress bar, all lit in one color.

ON THE DIAL

- Analog hour and minute hands over a numbered minute ring
- A large digital time underneath, 24-hour or 12-hour with AM/PM
- HR: your heart rate, with a bar. The bar is a visual scale, not a medical zone
- STEPS: today's step count, with a bar that fills at 10,000 steps
- BAT: battery percentage, with a bar
- Weekday, day and month in a row across the middle, in your watch's language
- Two app shortcut complications, left and right of the hands

THE TWO COMPLICATIONS

Press and hold the dial and tap Customize.

Split has two complications, both app shortcuts: one in the black space on the left, one on the right. Give each one an app and a single tap opens it. They show the app's icon and nothing else, so text and progress data do not fit there. You can also leave either one empty, and it draws nothing.

Heart rate, steps, battery and the date are part of the dial itself, not complications, so they cannot be swapped for other data. The step bar always fills at 10,000 steps; it does not read your own goal.

YOUR CHOICES IN CUSTOMIZE

- Color theme: Lime, Cyan, Amber, Red or Violet. The color runs through the hands, the bars, the date and the accents on the steel.
- Time format: 24 hour, or 12 hour with AM or PM under the digits. This choice belongs to the face, so it does not follow your watch's own setting.

ALWAYS-ON

On the always-on screen the steel, the bars and the shortcuts switch off. Thin gray hands, a gray digital time and the date stay on pure black.

GOOD TO KNOW

While the watch has no heart-rate reading, HR shows --. The Customize labels are in English in every language. There is no phone app, no account, no ads and no subscription.

Buy it on your phone, then open the Play Store on your watch, where it is waiting in your library. Press and hold your current face, swipe to Split and tap it.
