Rejoin: Photo Assembly Guide

Keep a clear record of how an item comes apart, so you can follow your own steps when it is time to put it back together.

Photo steps
Start a project and photograph each step before removing a part. Add images from your camera or choose existing photos. Give each step a name and record details you want to remember.

Part labels
Tap a photo to mark where a part belongs. Record its name, quantity, storage location and orientation. Keep bolts, washers and other loose pieces connected to the right photo.

Parts board
See the labeled parts across a project. Search by part name, storage location or note, then open the original step for context.

Reverse assembly
Follow your recorded photos in reverse order. Count each part as you return it, then confirm the step. Rejoin keeps the remaining quantities visible and requires every labeled part in a step to be accounted for before it can be confirmed.

Pause and return
Your saved photos, labels and progress remain available when you return. Reopen the last confirmed step or reset assembly progress to make changes to the original sequence.

Project backups
Export a password-protected backup with your original photos and project records. Restore it as a new project on a device with Rejoin. Keep the backup password somewhere safe; it cannot be recovered.

Optional app lock
Choose a dedicated Rejoin PIN, fingerprint or face unlock where supported. App lock is optional and starts switched off. Limited preview can hide project photo previews until you tap them.

Rejoin records the process you supply. It does not identify components automatically or provide repair instructions. Follow the item's manufacturer guidance and work only on tasks you can carry out safely.

Project information is stored on your device. Deleting or uninstalling the app removes its local data; export a backup first if you need to keep your work.
