About this app

Physics Zen is A Level Physics revision built on practice: a fresh question every time, an instant check, and a worked solution the moment you need it. The A Level path follows the AQA specification and the content it shares with OCR A and Edexcel, so you revise each topic at the depth the papers ask for.

A LEVEL PHYSICS PATH

- Mechanics: motion and projectiles, forces, momentum, work, energy and power, circular motion and simple harmonic motion
- Electricity: circuits, resistivity, internal resistance and capacitors
- Fields: gravitational, electric and magnetic fields, electromagnetic induction and transformers
- Waves and quantum physics: interference, diffraction gratings, polarisation, photons and the photoelectric effect
- Thermal and nuclear physics: gas laws, kinetic theory, radioactive decay and particle physics
- Required practicals as data analysis: read a gradient or an intercept from a table of readings, then find g, resistivity, internal resistance, a capacitor's time constant or absolute zero, with percentage uncertainties

Every question is original practice, not an official exam paper. Physics Zen is not affiliated with AQA, OCR or Pearson Edexcel.

Taking a different course? The app has fourteen exam paths in all, including AP Physics, HKDSE Physics, Abitur and the French Bac.

BUILT FOR REVISION

Generated Questions: Practise fresh numbers on every attempt, across five difficulty levels.

Mastery Progression: Each skill moves from foundations to multi-step problems as you show you understand it.

Theory Beside the Question: Open short explanations, formulas and worked examples without leaving your session.

Mistake Journal: Wrong answers are saved automatically. Come back to the same idea later with new numbers.

Visual Physics: Graphs, force diagrams, circuits, waves, ray diagrams and energy levels where a question needs them.

Offline First: Everything works without an internet connection. Optional sign-in syncs your progress across devices.

Focused Interface: No ads, no coins and no lives. Light and dark themes.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose a topic or the A Level path.
2. Answer a question at your current level.
3. Check your answer and read the worked solution.
4. Build mastery and return to the mistakes that need another go.

Most skills are free, and Kinematics is free end to end. Premium unlocks the last skill of each topic, the exam paths and detailed statistics. Subscription and lifetime options are shown in the app with local pricing before purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Google Play account settings.
