About this app

Foil is a pill reminder that keeps asking until you mark the dose. If you haven't tapped Taken, it reminds you again after 10, 30 and 60 minutes and stops the moment you do. Reminders are free for every medication you add, with no account and no ads.

Reminders that keep asking
- Follow-ups at 10, 30 and 60 minutes by default. Pick other gaps or turn them off.
- Each follow-up replaces the last one, so reminders never pile up.
- Mark Taken, Snooze or Skip right from the notification.
- Send a test reminder while you set up and watch it arrive before you rely on it.
- Quiet hours for follow-ups at night. The first reminder always arrives.
- The Reliability check shows what can silence a medication reminder on your phone, like notification permission, exact alarms and battery optimization, and opens the right setting to fix it.

Every schedule a prescription can have
- Once or several times a day, with a different amount at each time
- Specific weekdays, every few days, or every few hours
- On and off cycles, with start and end dates
- As needed, with the limits you enter, such as at most 3 a day, 4 hours apart
- Birth control packs: 21 + 7, 24 + 4, 28 continuous, 84 + 7 or your own count, drawn like the real pack with today's pill ringed
- Weekly injections, with an optional reminder the evening before and injection site rotation that remembers where you injected last

Your medications, clearly labeled
Add a medication and Foil sets its label as you type: name, strength, how much and when, plus instructions such as "with food". Today shows what is due now and what comes next. Tap a dose to mark it, or record that you took it earlier. Editing a schedule never rewrites the days behind you. It works as a simple med tracker and medication log as much as a reminder.

A record your doctor can read
- A month calendar of every dose: taken on time, late, skipped with your reason, or missed
- Patterns in plain words, like the time of day that slips most (Pro)
- A doctor report as a PDF with each medication's schedule and how often it was taken (Pro)
- Refills and supply: how much is left, a reminder before you run out, and refills left on the prescription (Pro)

Private by design
- No account, no sign-up. Your medications and dose history stay on your phone.
- Discreet mode: notifications show "Foil" and the time instead of medication names. On your home screen the app is simply called Foil.
- App lock with your fingerprint, face or screen lock (Pro)
- Backup and export to JSON or CSV, free

What's free and what Pro adds
Free for good: unlimited medications and reminders, follow-ups until marked, every schedule type and birth control packs, Taken from the notification, 30 days of history (older days are kept), discreet mode, backup and export. Nothing you set up for free becomes paid later.

Foil Pro adds the full history with insights, the doctor report, refills and supply, your own follow-up timing, App lock, and an alarm for medications you mark as critical: if the dose is still not marked, the last reminder rings as an alarm, even when your phone is on vibrate, and it stops as soon as you mark the dose.

Foil Pro comes as a yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. You can cancel the subscription anytime in your Google Play account.

Foil reminds you of the schedule your doctor or pharmacist gave you and keeps a record of it. It does not give medical advice and does not calculate doses. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before changing how you take a medication.

Foil is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.
