God's Breaking Through Process: The Key to an Effective Spiritual Life

Every believer who wants to serve God faithfully must go through a process of renewal. Few understand this process, yet no one who serves God can do without it. This book offers a thorough study of the transformation that comes through the renewing of the mind, as the apostle Paul explains in Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:23–24, and Colossians 3:8–10. It gives readers a solid, Scripture-based understanding of how God works in the believer's life to produce lasting, visible change. By the end of this study, you will have a clearer picture of how God transforms His people, and how His renewal prepares you to fulfill His will for your life.

No believer can reach spiritual maturity without being transformed by God, whatever title or position he or she may hold in the church. Each believer must decide personally whether he or she truly wants God to manifest Himself as the Scriptures describe. God does not force anyone to surrender completely to Him or to His will; that choice belongs to each individual. We can settle for the approval of others and a routine religious life. But if we truly want to see the glory of God, we must allow Him to process and transform us.

This expanded edition includes new material on the soul, examining the mind, reason, intellect, will, and emotions in their biblical context. It also expands the explanation of how God originally created the soul and what happens when it is damaged. These biblical insights, drawn directly from the written Word of God, will help you overcome the burdens of the past and equip you to help others who are struggling.

God's Breaking Through Process is a comprehensive guide to the way God renews His people. It will help you understand many of the issues you face but have not known how to address. Above all, it is written to help you grow to a deeper level of spiritual growth and maturity in Christ.
