Michael Northrop

Michael Northrop is the New York Times–bestselling author of 16 books for young readers, including the classic young adult survival tale Trapped and the hit graphic novel Dear Justice League. His books have been selected for the Indie Next List, Junior Library Guild, and numerous state and year-end Best Of lists. Collectively, they have sold more than one million copies. His first cozy mystery for adults, The Figman Files: License to Grill, about a CIA loner–turned–B&B owner, comes out later this year. He is originally from Salisbury, Connecticut, a small town in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, where he mastered the arts of tree climbing, BB gun shooting, and field goal kicking with only moderate injuries.
