Maris Soule was born and raised in California. She taught 7th- 12th grade art and math for eight years, but always had stories running through her head, begging to be written. After marrying and moving to Michigan, Soule quit teaching to raise their two children. With her husband's encouragement, she decided to try writing those stories down. So far she's had four mysteries (three in the P. J. Benson series and one stand alone) and twenty-five category romances published, several winning awards or being short listed. The Soules now live in Michigan in the summer and Florida in the winter. She writes a weekly blog on writing (http: //marissoule.com/blog/ ) and is on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
