M. LEE. PRESCOTT

I write romances, mysteries, suspense and books for children and young adults—54 books and counting. Among my titles are the six book, Ricky Steele Mysteries from PREPPED TO KILL to STALKING EVIL (first person, humorous, friendships). The five book Roger and Bess Mysteries and spin-off, The Mapletree Murder Club Mysteries (small village cozy mysteries) from A FRIEND OF SILENCE TO THE LABYRINTH WALK, and two popular romance series with 27 titles in all—Morgan’s Run (southwest, cowboys, ranchers, community) and its spin-off, Morgans Fire (New England Coastal village). I also have a number of stand-alone titles in different genres. As professor emeritus at a small New England liberal arts college, my scholarly work centers around social contexts within which children learn and I am the author of three works of nonfiction. My ongoing research examines the impact of mindfulness on readers and writers, work that brings me tremendous joy and satisfaction. I am so fortunate to live on a beautiful river along the Atlantic Flyway.
