Kim Wilkins

Kim Wilkins is Associate Professor in Media Aesthetics at the University of Oslo, Norway. She is the author of American Eccentric Cinema (Bloomsbury, 2019) and the co-editor of three volumes on contemporary cinema cultures: The Body Swap Book (with Wyatt Moss-Wellington, 2023), Refocus: The Films of Richard Linklater (with Timotheus Vermeulen, 2022), and Refocus: The Films of Spike Jonze (with Wyatt Moss-Wellington, 2019). Her essays have appeared in Screen, Cinephile, Mediapolis and Textual Practice, among other venues. Her most recent monograph, Gentrifying Scenes, is forthcoming.
