Kenta Shinohara

Kenta Shinohara started his manga career as an assistant to Hideaki Sorachi, creator of Gin Tama. In 2007, his first serialization, Sket Dance, began running in Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan. Sket Dance went on to win the 55th Shogakukan Manga Award in the shonen manga category and inspired an anime in 2011. His next serialization, Astra Lost in Space, ran on Jump+ from 2016 to 2017. It garnered a number of awards both in Japan and abroad and was adapted into an anime in 2019. His current series WITCH WATCH started in 2021 in Weekly Shonen Jump.
