Katherine Johnson

Katherine Johnson is the author of three novels (Pescador's Wake, The Better Son and Matryoshka), with a fourth to be published in 2019, following a Creative Writing PhD at the University of Tasmania. Her manuscripts have won Varuna/HarperCollins awards and Tasmanian Literary Awards. The Better Son was longlisted for both the Australian Indie book awards and the Tasmania Book Prize. Katherine is also a science writer. She has published feature articles in publications including the Sydney Morning Herald's Good Weekend magazine and Australian Geo.
