Julien "Jul" Berjeaut (1974-present), born in Algeria, is today one of the most famous comics talents in France. After years of teaching China studies, he became an editorial cartoonist for major newspapers as well as a graphic-novel creator, with his best-selling series Silex and the City adapted to animation as The Darwinners. For more than a decade, Berjeaut has also been the main writer of new Lucky Luke comics adventures, continuing the Morris and Goscinny tradition.
