Read it in the pure e-book days. Greene is very good at explaining difficult concepts of modern physics in simple terms. The opening chapter "universe in a bucket" will always be the highlight of the book for me. Only place where I don't enjoy Greene's writing is when he speaks about string theory (I am in the camp that holds that string theory is not real physics).

The Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene is a brilliant exploration of space, time, reality, and the fundamental laws of the universe. With exceptional clarity, Greene explains complex ideas such as relativity, quantum mechanics, extra dimensions, and the nature of time in an engaging and accessible style. Thought-provoking and intellectually rewarding, this book is an outstanding read for anyone fascinated by modern physics and cosmology.
