Think your family is dysfunctional? Meet the Flynns.

It’s been disastrous since Bud and Catherine opened up their marriage. Bud now sleeps in the family minivan while Catherine plots a liaison with their neighbour.

As for their three teenage daughters: Abigail is dating an ex-soldier several years her senior; Louise dreams of winning an Inner Beauty Pageant; and Harper, the brilliant youngest, is increasingly paranoid that there are secrets to be uncovered in their small coastal town.

Casting a shadow across all their lives is Paul Alabaster, a local billionaire, whose corrupt machinations send the Flynn family hurtling into a criminal conspiracy – one that may just, finally, bring them closer together.
