Dr.Kavirayani Srikanth is an electrical engineer born in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He obtained his doctorate from GITAM University,Vizag and Master's from University of Missouri-Columbia, USA in 2005. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor of electrical and electronics engineering at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering(Autonomous), Visakhapatnam where he also happens to be an almamater. He has written over 50 manuscripts. Some of his manuscripts are published in renowned journals like IEEE, Elsevier, IJFIS(Korea),TELKOMNIKA(Indonesia),DeGruyter(Berlin). He has participated in over 30 National & International conferences and also actively contributed to organizing National and International Conferences in various organizations as organizing committee member,secretary,convenor. He is a reviewer for International Journals such as IEEE transactions on fuzzy systems, Automatika, Elsevier and IJFIS to name a few. He actively reviews many national and international conferences as well. He was a volunteer teacher for eVidyaloka, a non profit organization through which he taught rural school students in remote locations of Andhra Pradesh for 2 years. He is an active member of IEEE, IE(I), IETE ,ACDOS, ISRD, IUCEE, RSI and ERDA and many other organizations.

Dr.Srikanth is an entrepreneur who has been actively doing research through his firm "Samanvi Med Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd" where his team is working on Medical devices for the elderly people, handicapped and special children with his team.

Dr.Srikanth is also a roboticist and leads the e-Yantra division(MHRD Project of IITB) of Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering(A) where he engages students from all branches with interest in robotics. He has to his credit a Best Researcher Award,best paper award and a technical innovation award(MU-Mites Robot Team, USA). His interests lie in Intelligent systems, Engineering electromagnetics, control systems with emphasis on time delay systems, electronics and robotics with focus on recent trends in AI and quantum computing.
