Captive Witch

When a powerful witch assassin falls for the ruthless mafia boss she was hired to kill, their second chance at love could cost them both their lives.

DELLA

I fell for Victor Montalban the night I was hired to kill him.

Sparing his life cost me my reputation, my coven’s trust, and the only man I had ever loved. Now a warning has brought me back to Victor’s mansion: someone intends to kill him, and I may be the only witch powerful enough to stop it.

There’s just one problem. Victor believes my return is another trap.

All I need is one night to uncover the threat and keep him alive. Then I’ll let him walk away again—even if losing him a second time destroys what remains of my heart.

VICTOR

Della Thoreaux put a blade to my throat, left me with a scar, and disappeared with my heart.

She’s a deadly assassin, a powerful witch, and the last woman I should ever trust. Now she’s back, claiming someone else wants me dead and insisting she’s the only person who can save me.

I should send her away. Instead, every look and touch reminds me that the desire between us never died.

If I trust Della, she could finish the job she started. If I don’t, we may not survive long enough to discover whether what happened between us was real.
