As wars ignite and nations fall, Isakdlld rises from whistleblower to warlord, from prisoner to legend, hunted by rivals who were once friends. Every betrayal pushes him deeper. Every resurrection makes him stronger. And every glitch reveals a terrifying secret:
The universe is a simulation — and someone else is writing the script.
A mind‑bending saga of power, corruption, and the fight to escape the system controlling your fate.
Greetings, my name is Samuel Hung, a 15‑year‑old writer based in Hong Kong. Isakdlld, The Glitched King is my debut novel, exploring philosophical themes of control, inevitability, and the unseen forces that shape human destiny. My passion for philosophy and abstract thought has long inspired me to use storytelling as a way to make these ideas tangible.
The greatest influence behind this book was a close mentor and friend — someone I often called my Godfather — whose guidance deeply shaped my thinking. His final request was that I pursue this story, and fulfilling that promise became the foundation of the novel.
The writing process took a little more than a year and a half, spanning from when I was 13 until just after my 15th birthday. During this journey, I discovered the true value of my time and creativity.
