Unlike most books you will read. A rollercoaster journey taking many themes any guises. Interesting writing style, and good with it. You feel quite exhausted when you reach the end. Try it for yourself. You are the best judge but it might certainly be worth the try! Stick with the early part though.

It was gripping and entertaining throughout but the amount of 5 star reviews gives the impression that this is something special. It's not. It also is quite misleading in that the early scenes are implied to be directly linked to the main plot but by the end are revealed to be a complete red herring and almost outrageous coincidence.

The second half of this book was excellent. The early parts sometimes got me confused so I didn't know whether we were in the present, the near past or long ago. However, kept me gripped, and would recommend. A lovely, long read.
