W. G. Sebald, geboren 1944 in Wertach, starb 2001 in England. Bei Hanser erschienen zuletzt Luftkrieg und Literatur (1999), Austerlitz (Roman, 2001), Unerzählt (2003, mit Bildern von Jan Peter Tripp), Campo Santo (2003) und über das Land und das Wasser (2008).
