Información sobre este eBook

The Picture of Dorian Gray is Oscar Wilde’s only novel and one of the most influential works of late nineteenth-century literature. First published in Lippincott’s Monthly Magazine in 1890 and later revised for book publication in 1891, the novel explores beauty, vanity, moral corruption, art, desire, and the dangerous pursuit of eternal youth.

The story follows Dorian Gray, a young man of extraordinary beauty whose portrait becomes the hidden record of his moral decay. While Dorian remains outwardly youthful and untouched by time, the image in the portrait bears the marks of his choices, sins, and spiritual corruption. Through this haunting premise, Wilde examines the relationship between appearance and reality, art and life, pleasure and conscience.

Blending Gothic atmosphere with philosophical reflection and sharp social criticism, The Picture of Dorian Gray remains a landmark of classic literature. This ebook+ edition is based on the public domain original and has been prepared for modern digital reading in a clean and accessible format.
