Gillian Andrews lives on an island in the Mediterranean, is passionate about cosmology and writes upbeat adventures set in deep space and unknowable worlds.
Her advice to new authors is to keep on writing, come what may. "Your books may even have a longer shelf life than you. Who knows? Those words you liked so much may be read by future generations long after you have been turned back into stardust!"

Gillian Andrews’ latest books are set in the Major Shells universe. There are two trilogies with an interquel in between. The first trilogy is the Interstellar Enforcement Agency (Termination Shock, Interdicted Space and Exceptional Point). These are followed by the interquel, Supershell Storm. Finally the Quantum Heritage trilogy (Slipstream Alley, Spectacular Error and The Last Bridge) finishes the Major Shells arc. She is also the author of the Ammonite Galaxy series and the standalone novel Kelfor, which loosely links both universes.
She has also written four Mediterranean Romance novels under the pseudonym of Carla Prince and a collection of predominantly non-fiction short stories under the pseudonym of Titiless Tench.
