About this ebook

In Irish storyland, anything can happen. All of these stories are true in a metaphorical, symbolic or life lesson sense. Many are factual, documented or personally witnessed by the author or others. 'Lady Beresford and the Black Ribbon' is accepted by her descendants as a true account, for example.

From The Murder of The Knight of the Curragh and How Fionn Got His Gray Hair, to The Ballad of Kishóg's Curse and The Casino at Marino, these tales are a mixture of local history and folklore expertly crafted by a professional storyteller.
