About this ebook

A literary play on “peekaboo,” encompassing the paradoxical back-and-forth of babyhood, by Caldecott-winning author Liz Garton Scanlon.

Where is my baby,
my peekaboo bee?
My roll-away-back-again

Babies are often on the go, exploring and learning—but they always come back to us, and we are always there for them. Inspired by the hide-and-reveal nature of peekaboo, this cozy book depicts a crawling, swinging, hiding baby and a mother’s reassuring presence. A wholesome read-together book that is both playful and poignant, written in poetic rhyme by award-winning author Liz Garton Scanlon.
