About this ebook

A haunted house tour-de-force from the creator of THE MAGNUS ARCHIVES podcast.

GOING UP?

A dinner party is held in the penthouse of a multimillion-pound development. All the guests are strangers - even to their host, the billionaire owner of the building.

None of them know why they were selected to receive his invitation. Whether privileged or deprived, they share only one thing in common - they've all experienced a shocking disturbance within the building's walls.

By the end of the night, their host is dead, and none of the guests will say what happened.

His death has remained one of the biggest unsolved mysteries - until now.

But are you ready for their stories?

Eerie but not too graphic, with a strong message, told satisfyingly through the angle of horror It's not a book that will leave you paranoid, or shaking in fear, but it will leave you thinking, especially after the karmic conclusion, which (not exaggerating) had me pump my fist in the air in satisfaction, and the epiloge that follows. If you want a read that speaks of the duality of human, the uncaring and the empathetic, of how man can be so cruel and yet have the capacity for change, a book that will leave you dreading and hoping for your fellow people, then give this one a try.

A really excellent read! Spooky without the grotesque. Jhonny is a master of uncomfortable horror. If you like the Magnus archives you'll love this!
