âPretty Little Liars fans, get a sneak peek at your new favorite book The Merciless . . . a nail-biting thriller.ââSeventeen
Brooklyn Stevens sits in a pool of her own blood, tied up and gagged. No one outside of these dank basement walls knows sheâs here. No one can hear her scream.
Sofia Flores knows she shouldnât have gotten involved. When she befriended Riley, Grace, and Alexis on her first day at school, she admired them, with their perfect hair and their good-girl ways. They said they wanted to save Brooklyn. They wanted to help her. Sofia didnât realize they believed Brooklyn was possessed.
Now, Riley and the girls are performing an exorcism on Brooklynâbut their idea of an exorcism is closer to torture than salvation. All Sofia wants is to get out of this house. But there is no way out. Sofia canât go against the other girls . . . unless she wants to be next.
By the shockingly twisted end, readers will be faced with the most haunting question of all: Is there evil in all of us?

Very immature characterisation. Absurd plot. Teenage readers may like it. I think it is a book I would have enjoyed around the age of 14, particularly the "shock" ending. I didn't think the violence was anywhere near as shocking as some reviews said. Also I found myself grazing over paragraphs just to get thru- never a good sign in a novel that is supposed to be a thriller/horror/ mystery.

Honestly I never read books. But this one only took me about 10 hours to read the whole thing. I love the books she writes. I want to own them all. I'm thinking we would be good friends if we ever met. We had similar childhoods. :)

I read this last night before I went to sleep. (Anyone else feel like ebooks go by so much quicker than physical copies?! Lol) And I had to turn my night lamp on, I just got a bit too creeped out. I creep out easily lol It was enjoyable and had me soo soo confused with who I thought was good and who was bad! But one thing is for sure, ALL of the girls got some major ass issues... Lmao Some are a bit crazy or f*cked up even. (Pardon the language) I plan on reading them all, & buying physical copies!
