Bargaining With Beasts

Bonding with dragons gave humans magic to craft metal - now, two unlikely allies will have to work together to save the dragons they love, all while fighting their growing attraction to each other . . .

Teagan Quinn’s powerful silver-crafting family have a motto: It doesn’t matter what you do as long as you’re the best. For Teagan that’s easier said than done when she’s always overshadowed by her older sister Willa, a famous dragon racer, and her younger sister, a gifted silver sculptor.

Finn Barry has a personal motto: survive another day. At the bottom of the metal-crafting food chain he lives from moment-to-moment and couldn’t be further from Teagan’s world.

But when Teagan and her beloved dragon Zelle are captured by the illegal poaching group that Finn has found himself wrapped up in, the two are forced into an uneasy alliance. Slowly, what begins as a relationship of necessity develops into something deeper, and as Teagan and Finn navigate sabotage, plots and blackmail, the only thing that seems certain are their new feelings for one another. But is that enough in a world where class divisions run deep? And can they save Zelle and the other dragons before it’s too late?
