About this ebook

Jesus said at John 14:6 ｢I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.｣

When a child chosen of God receive faith giving by the grace of God and through the faith he is aware spiritually of and believe the word of truth of God like this message, God let him be born again from the dead spirit due to Adam’s sin as a righteous one through the baptism with the Holy Spirit,.

If so, he, as the righteous one, receive the Counselor, as the Spirit promised by Jesus, in his temple of the heart, as his spirit born again, and he becomes to be saved as a child of God.

At this time, Jesus being with the Counselor forms one body spiritually with his spirit born again and build the spiritual church in him.

And Jesus becomes the head of the church and he who saved becomes the member of his church, and Jesus, as the head of the church, leads the spiritual life for the member of the church to let him live in the world.

In this way the child chosen of God, who has been lived through his mind of the flesh as a sinner in the world with the dead spirit due to Adam’s sin, becomes to be born again spiritually and becomes to be saved and becomes to build the spiritual church in him.

And he becomes to be able to live the spiritual life in the world by the leading of Jesus who is the head of his church.

Therefore, through Jesus who is the way and the truth and the life, a child chosen of God has been saved and becomes to come to God by his spiritual life leading by Jesus.

About the way:

Jesus becomes the head of the spiritual church of a child saved of God and leads the spiritual life of the member of the church.

So that Jesus becomes the way that let a child saved of God comes to God.

About the truth:

Just as John 1:4 said ｢In him was life, and that life was the light of the men｣,

In Jesus was life, as the image of God, and that life was the light of life of the men who will become to be saved after the creation of the world.

This message of John 1:4 is the message about the spiritual life in God the Son or the Word and becomes the word of truth of God as the origin of the gospel.

So that Jesus himself is to become the word of truth of God. About this, the apostle Paul said at Romans 1:25, ｢the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past,｣

About the life:

A child saved of God forms one body spiritually with Jesus who came being with the Counselor and becomes to build the spiritual church in him, and Jesus who is the head of the church leads the spiritual life of the member of the church by the life in Jesus becoming the image of God.

So that a child saved of God, as the member of the church, is able to come to God.

In this way the message that Jesus becomes the head of the church is the message that the life in Jesus becoming the image of God becomes the head of a child saved of God in order to let him live through the spiritual new life.

In this way a child saved of God has been living with the spiritual life of the new self by the leading of Jesus who is the way and the truth and the life.

Such all spiritual life becomes the life living by the name of Jesus.

Thus, the apostle Paul said at Colossians 3:17, ｢whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of Jesus｣

And through his spiritual life leading by Jesus who

becomes the head of the church built in a child saved of God, what he prays to God becomes the prayer that Jesus asks to God for his need instead of him.

So that it is to become the prayer by the name of Jesus.

Thus, Jesus said at John 14:13, ｢I will do whatever you ask in my name.｣

And a child saved of God becomes to live in the world through the spiritual new life leading by the life in Jesus who came to be become the head of a child saved of God.

It means that the life in Jesus becoming the image of God is to become the head of a child saved of God in order to let him live with the spiritual knowledge, emotion and will as the spiritual new life.

Therefore, though a child saved of God has been living with the flesh in the world, the devil is not able to tempt him being with the spiritual knowledge, emotion and will.

Jesus came with the flesh to the world as a sinner, and at the time of God for him, when the Son of Man, Jesus was baptized by the John the Baptist in the Jordan, God let him born again from his dead spirit due to Adam’s sin as the righteous one through the baptism with the Holy Spirit.

And Jesus, as the righteous one, was saved with the Spirit descending like a dove from on high.

So that Jesus became the new self with the spiritual life in the image of God in order to live with the spiritual knowledge, emotion and will.

And Jesus had been doing his spiritual gospel mission in the world for three years in order to preach the gospel and to teach the gospel to his disciples living by the mind of the flesh.

Through such living of Jesus with the spiritual knowledge, emotion and will, God showed in advance the spiritual life that the children saved of God will live.

Therefor, the life, that the children saved of God preach the gospel to the neighbor, is to becomes the new life living by the message of ｢whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of Jesus｣

About the author

This Colossians is the gospel letter that the apostle Paul who was in the prison of Rome wrote for the Colossae church.

However, it is the gospel letter too of us, the chosen people of God who are living today.

Colossae was located in Phrygia region of Asia Minor with Laodicea at the west bound and Hierapolis at the north bound.

And Ephesus is located at the west seaside from Colossae.

As the mentioned at Colossians 1:6, the preachers sent by God preached already the gospel to Colossians.

Therefore, Some of Colossians were aware spiritually of and believed the gospel that bears fruits of the salvation. Since then, Epaphras interpreted spiritually and deeply the gospel to the children saved of God at Colossae just as the message of Colossians 1:7.

Thus, the Colossae church that was built already learned the gospel deeply from Epaphras.

And Epaphras served the Colossae church like the pastor.

During his third missionary journey, the apostle Paul appointed 12 his disciples at the Ephesus church, (See Acts 19:6-10)

And the apostle Paul taught the gospel deeply focusing to the 12 disciples every day at the lecture hall of Tyrannus of Ephesus for two years.

So that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia Minor heard the gospel of the Lord.

At that time, those who bear the fruit of the gospel returned back to their place and they built their churches. Among them, were those who came from Colossae of Phrygia region and Laodicea at the west side from Colossae and Hierapolis at the north side from Colossae.

In such circumstance, the apostle Paul wrote the gospel letter, Colossians for the Colossae church that was built already.

Therefore, he wrote the gospel letter that contains the gospel of Christ about Jesus, which is the core of the gospel in great depth.

Because it is his first preaching of the gospel directly to them.

「 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 」 (See Colossians 3:3)

The one who has been saved is the one who nailed on his cross his mind of the flesh that becomes the bodily life.

And the life that was in Jesus from the beginning (see John 1:4), which is the image of God that is invisible by the eyes of the flesh, came to become the head of the spiritual church in the one who has been saved.

Therefore, he is to become the new self who is living with the spiritual life in Jesus.

So that his spiritual life is now hidden with Christ in God due to the spiritual life that is invisible by the eyes of the flesh.

Also, through this gospel letter that was written even about the suffering Jesus himself endured on the Cross and what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions and a lot of the word of truth of God which did not hear from other gospel letters, you will be aware spiritually of and believe the will of God in those gospel.

Therefore, you will be saved and will become to bear the fruit of the gospel and will become to live with the spiritual knowledge, emotion and will renewed by the life in Jesus that becomes the image of God.

If You have been saved, you are going to 「 have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. 」 (See Colossians 3:10)

It means that thc children saved of God are to become those who renewed by the spiritual life of the new self living with the spiritual knowledge, emotion and will by the life in Jesus that is the image of God.

Even though you who have been saved are living with the flesh in the world, because you died with the flesh and you are living with the spiritual knowledge, emotion and will by the life in Jesus, you are living with the spiritual life that the devil can not tempt.
