Left behind back home, Julieta is always looking toward the east, waiting for Rome's return. It was from the east that the planes flew, dropping fire onto the small town of Asuntora. Now, much like its neighbors, Asuntora no longer exists, but Julieta and a friend managed to survive. Wandering through the badlands that their world had become, they are soon discovered by the rebellion who insist that it was all the empire's fault. Even with proof staring at her in the face, Julieta is torn between joining the rebellion and hoping to find Rome safe and alive out there.
