Anders Hansson is a professor of electrical engineering and the book "Introductory Duplicate Bridge" was written during his first two years as a bridge player. The main motivation was to facilitate his own learning process. He realized during this time that there are few good introductory books on bridge published which teaches the tactics of duplicate bridge - at least for the beginner.
