Finally you can read the older Edda in understandable English! No more confusing sentences, no more confusing words and no more confusion when it comes to what the story is actually about. The older Edda teaches us about knowledge, love, revenge, anger, regret, loss and sorrow. But more importantly it teaches us that the Wyrd, our destiny, is unavoidable. What is decided by the Norns must happen and there is no other choice than to accept it. My hope with translating the older Edda into understandable English is that everyone, both young and old, can understand the stories about our Asir, Vanir, Vettir, Jotnar and ancestors. And one day we can all turn to the right religion.
