The Butterfly Cage: A Delafield & Malloy Investigation

Louisa Delafield survived the abduction. The panic attacks remind her every day, and she knows that her past will never truly release her.

But it won't hinder her commitment to defending the powerless. Traveling through the Wild West, she must confront her fears and fight a ruthless procurer to save innocent girls from the horrors of sex trafficking.

Back in New York, Ellen Malloy goes undercover to protect a young heiress from a "suitor" with sinister intentions.

Their pursuit of the truth takes them to Panama where they face down the owners of a brothel staffed by girls sold to them by New York and Wyoming gangs.

Louisa has her newspaper column and a fierce sense of justice. Ellen has nothing but nerve and loyalty to the woman who opened up a new world for her. Working together, they go where the law won't.
