About this audiobook

Deep in the Amazon lies the Vale do Javari – over 30,000 square miles of towering trees that blot out the sun, mist-choked valleys, bottomless black lakes and ancient legends of colossal beasts. Countless souls have entered seeking fortune. None have returned. Now an artefact has surfaced – a mysterious dark stone etched with a map that points the way to that lost world and its hidden city. It also speaks of a treasure beyond price: the key to immortality. The stone was stolen by a powerful Brazilian crime family. When the Brazilian government appeals for help, the United States answers by deploying the feared Reaper Special Forces team. Their orders are simple and absolute: stop the Molino family and deliver lethal justice. But what the Reapers discover in this primordial wilderness are things from the dawn of time, alongside monstrous creatures that should exist only in nightmares. What began as a mission of retribution quickly becomes a desperate fight for survival in a primordial green hell.
