Absolutely Not the Mission: A low-spice, thrilling spy romance

She thinks he's a criminal mastermind. He's hunting for the nearest exit.

FBI agent Ruby Knight has been chasing Damien Cade ever since the criminal broker slipped through her fingers and left her career with a bruise she can't shake. So when a new lead on Cade surfaces, Ruby is ready to finish what she started. But when the lead drops dead in the middle of Heathrow, the investigation takes an unexpected turn toward an unsuspecting American tourist.

The stranger in 30E. The one who read the safety card twice and lectured her about the importance of airplane safety.

Callan James is a Kansas chemistry teacher who quotes safety statistics for fun and lives by a lifetime of Wilderness Corp rules. His sister gifted him a six-day European adventure tour packed with heights, speed, and an alarming number of harness-based activities. He planned to survive the itinerary. He didn't plan on assassins, a mystery device he didn't know he was carrying, or the green-eyed woman from the plane suddenly joining his tour group.

Thrown into a partnership neither of them planned for, Ruby and Callan dodge bullets, aggressive geese, and a traitor inside the investigation while trying to stay one step ahead of Cade. Ruby can't afford to trust anyone. Callan can't stand the idea of someone getting hurt because of him. And neither of them can afford the very inconvenient attraction sparking between them.

The suspect is innocent. The itinerary is deadly. And falling for each other is absolutely not the mission.
