Acerca de este audiolibro
Witness the revival of the Maratha Empire through the eyes of its youngest visionary. Ranjit Desai's Swami is a heartbreakingly beautiful portrayal of Madhavrao Peshwa-a leader who rebuilt a shattered nation after Panipat, while battling a terminal illness and internal conspiracies. Narrated by the masterful Sachin Khedekar, this audiobook breathes life into the complex relationship between Madhavrao and his wife Ramabai, as well as his struggles with his ambitious uncle, Raghunathrao. Khedekar's nuanced performance captures the dignity of a Peshwa and the vulnerability of a man running out of time. It is a story of duty, love, and a legacy that refused to fade. A true masterpiece of Marathi literature, now ready to stir your soul.
