About this audiobook
This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice. High above the world, in the "Hall of Young Angels", guardians train to protect children with grace, precision, and perfect control. Luna has none of those things. He crashes into clouds. He fails landing practice. And during a rescue drill, he once saved the instructor instead of the falling object.
So when the final assignments are announced, Luna fully expects to be left behind. Instead, something impossible happens. He is given a child. Kevin is eight years old, endlessly curious, always climbing something he probably shouldn’t, and remarkably talented at turning ordinary moments into unexpected chaos. Which means Luna’s very first assignment might also be his final chance to prove he belongs among the guardians.
Unfortunately, protecting a human child is far more complicated than the training manuals suggested. Desks slide across classrooms. Windows break. Other angels begin whispering a new nickname for Luna: "Cloud-crasher."Yet when a real crisis strikes and everything begins to unravel, Luna discovers something the Hall of Young Angels never taught him. Guardians are not the ones who fix everything.
Sometimes the most important thing an angel can do... is simply...stay.
Warm, funny, and full of heart, "Luna: First Assignment" begins a charming fantasy series about mistakes, courage, and the quiet heroes who refuse to leave "when the world starts falling apart".
Perfect for bedtime listening, this gentle fantasy adventure reminds young listeners that even imperfect heroes can make a difference simply by staying.
