Shuttle Podcasts is a simple podcast player that skips the ads inserted into episodes. When an ad break starts, Smart Skip plays a soft chime and jumps straight back to the show.

★★★★★ "If you want a simple podcast player without all the bloat and visual noise, this is the app for you."
- Nick Carter, Google Play

SMART SKIP

• Finds the ads inserted into an episode by comparing several copies of it, then skips past them on your phone with a chime.
• Changed your mind? Undo a skip straight after the chime, or keep the ads for any show with one tap.
• Host-read sponsor messages stay in, so a show's own sponsors are still heard.
• It won't catch every inserted ad, and it never guesses from a transcript.
• Fair to creators: the full episode still downloads from the publisher's feed, so the show is counted and paid. The file is never altered or re-hosted.
• Free on one show of your choice, which you can swap every 7 days. Shuttle Plus turns Smart Skip on for every show.

A CLEAN, FAST PODCAST PLAYER

• No ads in the app and no account needed. Open it and listen.
• Find, subscribe to and play any podcast, or add any RSS feed, including password-protected feeds.
• Offline downloads for listening without a connection.
• Variable speed, smart speed and trim silence.
• Voice Boost for clearer voices at lower volumes.
• Chapters, with artwork and seek-bar markers when a show provides them.
• Sleep timer, queue, background playback and a home-screen widget.
• Chromecast and Android Auto.
• New episode notifications for the shows you choose.
• OPML import and export.
• Optional account to sync subscriptions and listening progress across your devices.
• Material 3 design that takes its colours from the artwork.

SHUTTLE PLUS

The player is free. Shuttle Plus unlocks Smart Skip on every show you follow, monthly, yearly or as a one-off lifetime purchase. Sign in and the same purchase also covers Shuttle Podcasts on iPhone. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

SWITCH IN A MINUTE

Import your subscriptions from any podcast app that exports OPML, paste a feed address, or search for shows one at a time.

WHAT LISTENERS SAY

★★★★★ "I've sorely missed google podcasts since it shut down - this is essentially a perfect replacement which does everything I could want."
- Joseph Newman, Google Play

A SOLO INDIE APP

I'm Tim, an Australian developer, and you may know my earlier app, Shuttle Music Player. When my favourite podcast app shut down, nothing else hit the spot, so I built a simple, fast podcast player for myself and kept polishing it.

Download Shuttle Podcasts and hear your shows without the ad breaks.
