About this app

Warning: Nightly is an unstable testing and development platform. By default, Firefox Nightly automatically sends data to Mozilla — and sometimes our partners — to help us handle problems and try ideas. Learn what is shared: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/privacy/firefox/#pre-release

Firefox Nightly gets updated every day and is designed to showcase the more experimental builds of Firefox. The Nightly channel allows users to experience the newest Firefox innovations in an unstable environment and provide feedback on features and performance to help determine what makes the final release.

BILLIONAIRE FREE FOR 20+ YEARS
The Firefox browser was created in 2004 by Mozilla as a faster, more private browser with more customizable features than web browsers like Internet Explorer. Today, we are still not-for-profit, still not owned by any billionaires and still working to make the internet — and the time you spend on it — better. It's a good app and I appreciate being able to use extensions on it. I've been having an issue lately where the app crashes (like, completely closes) whenever I hit the back button on my phone. The in-browser back button works, but I've never had to use it before and it's incredibly annoying to have to restart the app every time I accidentally hit the back button I've always used.

While using an alternative engine to Chromium is important, I still don't think Mozilla is doing enough to reverse the declining user base. For example, refusing to adopt WebUSB when even projects like LineageOS have built a web flashing tool based on that protocol is just stubborn; if people can't use something they want to use, they'll switch to another browser, end of the story. Also, the bookmarks management needs refinement, notably the ability to export.

Update: I recently used another phone with nightly on it, and it was working very decently so I guess -mostly I'm sure- the biggest problem was the phone, because the one I used before was older, slower, and highly worse. My bad for the original comment, and please Firefox team, keep up the great job!
