Signing in is now required for use - there is absolutely NO need for this. It had me unable to get images off my camera, even though I had done before, since I was in a remote location. This is a "feature" that serves(?) Canon, not the user. Update 1: Now sign in fails even though I DO have mob internet access. Update: I uninstalled the app and reinstalled - now it doesn't ask for sign in but hangs on connecting to the camera. After rebooting, it connected once, then lost the cxn and now fails.

When you're a first-party app that is n required in order to use certain features of another device, you dont have to try to be the best, but Canon at least made sure this app works the way it says it does. This app isn't super user friendly or fun to use, but I've never had any issues importing photos off my camera or using the remote viewfinder, which is somehow better than the desktop equivalent EOS Utility viewfinder.

Let me be crystal clear. The camera is amazing. Your app is complete trash. The app tries to connect my phone to my camera but can never do so. Not once. It first connects via Bluetooth, then the cameras nonexistent temporary Wi-Fi. (BTW, im using a Samsung Z-Fold 4 and a Canon EOS R50V). This should not be hard. Also, usb c to usb c doesnt work, either. Every time I want to transfer pictures or video, I have to remove the sd card and use an external item. Fix this.
