Imposter Party is an offline imposter game for 3 or more players sharing one phone. Everyone sees the same secret word except the impostor. Players give clues, discuss suspicious answers and vote to decide who is the imposter. The player without the word listens, bluffs and tries to guess the word without being exposed. This imposter word game brings the group together through conversation and deduction.
Each player checks their role in private before passing the phone to the next person. As in other imposter games, a useful clue shows knowledge of the word without giving the answer away. The impostor uses the others' clues to blend in, while the other players work to find the imposter. A round of this impostor game ends with the group deciding who's the imposter and voting. If exposed, the impostor gets one last chance to guess the secret word. This spy game turns ordinary answers into clues: a hesitation, an unusual description or a confident bluff can change the group's suspicions about who's the spy.
The Imposter Party word game includes two free categories and settings to configure each session. Local multiplayer games take place face to face on one shared phone, with no internet connection required. The shared-phone format works for 3 player games and larger gatherings, making this word party game suitable for family game nights. For party games with friends, the phone handles roles and voting while the conversation happens face to face. Hidden roles add the uncertainty found in spy games, leaving the group to work out which clues to trust.
The same rules apply to small gatherings and larger group games: secret roles, clues, discussion and voting. Each round gives players another chance to test their clues and spot a bluff in this spy word game.
Offline imposter game for 3+ players. One phone, one impostor, a secret word.
