Cathay Pacific

Every time I use Cathay's app and website, I'm completely shocked by how bad the experience is considering this is a major international airline. The app won't keep you signed in. The latency is high. There is no way to add your travel documents to your trip in the app. When I try to add on the website, it never saves. I book Cathay for their good reputation as an airline and then I always end up regretting it because everything about the experience is so dang frustrating. 0 stars

The app has been the worst I have experienced since late July. constantly logging in and kicked out. can't add boarding pass to wallet and keeps telling me session expired. log in and out and still same error. was so bad I actually had to call Cathay to book a flight. I havent had to do that in over years. very upset with this app. pushing people to use Passkey and also always failing is very annoying. I would give a 1 star but after many attempts it finally logs in.

this is the most garbage airline app I have ever used. incredibly slow - everything takes at least 10s to load, error messages are all generic and undescriptive, they force you to enter the same info multiple times for no reason. did they fire all their devs and use AI to make this app? absolute trash from a so-called "premium" airline that's too cheap to hire an engineer to make their customer experience a bit better.
