So far works reasonably. No problems with connectivity. The 1star reviews are overblown. Just allow the use of the location as asked at the start. I bought thr30 to avoid the need to use the app to switch between the 3 modes, and didn't find the app necessary yet. Won't give more stars then 3 for now as the UI is not very straightforward to use. The knobs are cumbersome to adjust. Maybe I'll get used to those for most of the values, but the amp type knob switcher is really tough to change.

An almost great app. If only I could figure out how to use presets I've downloaded onto my phone! Otherwise, the app works fine for me (only had the amp for a week), including Bluetooth that some people seem to have problems with. For me its been solid. I'd suggest if you're having problems, try moving away from routers, other Bluetooth devices and check that your WiFi isn't transmitting on 2.4ghz, which is the same band as Bluetooth.

Google Pixel 7. Android 14. As a Yamaha fan I expected good things. I installed THR Remote and updated the amp's firmware on PC. The amp connects to phone over Bluetooth 2-3% of the time. And of those successful connections, about half of them drop out after a few minutes. Really frustrating as the amp sounds great. I'm going to save 5 presets to the memory slots via PC and try to use it that way, but that's not what I expected. I've had better luck with apps from Positive Grid, Line 6 and BOSS.
