Why is it that the Spotify app, PC and mobile can find all of the speakers in my house, yet the Sonos app can't. This app is horrendously bad and gets worse with every update. I spend more time trying to reconnect the app to the system than listening to music. When it does work it will randomly loose the entire system and re-find it, or just individual rooms and then they'll reappear later without having to do anything. It occasionally informs me that I need to run an update, while installing the update it crashes and tells me to try again, yet when I do, it apparently no longer requires an update. And on another note, why does the app need the exact gps location of my mobile device to (not) be able to find a speaker on a wireless network!

The app is not the most intuitive but works fine. Improvements should come (hopefully) to the way it is organised, especially the research field. It would be nicer to be able to stream on sonos using other apps (apple music, music app,...) as if the sonos system was headphones connected to the phone. That would be much easier and better.

I don't know what Sonos have done. But the connectivity on my Play 5 Gen 1 was always pretty poor given Sonos is one of the top brands. But they seem to have taken a poor system, remodelled it, and made it so poor that the wireless function just doesn't work and, even when Hard Wired, the Spotify connection is now unnecessarily over complicated and clunky. You get better functionality from cheap chinese stuff. Absolutely shocking.
