Even one star is too much. I have a Phillips airfryer and the hope was that the device can be controlled remotely. It can't be. I get register the appliance in the app, but if I try to upload any cooking program - it ends with an error. After about 3 months owning the appliance, I didn't manage to. upload even ONE cooking program. At the same time, Phillips tells that the cooking programs in the app are a feature of the appliance! The device manual is also in the app and cannot be downloaded.

The app is so far nice and straightforward. I'd like to recommend a feature (probably in form of a button) to ask the app for a completely random recipe. Otherwise everyone will make the same 20 recipes no matter how many the users uploaded. Another recommendation would be to access the UI also from browser. Sometimes the phone app is not the best (for example, during cooking). It would be super if you would consider these recommendations, I think it would be beneficial to lots of users. TY!

Buying an expensive appliance with poor instructions, then being forced to use an app for basic information-and hand over personal data for marketing-is “you are the product” taken to another level. I don’t want to handle my phone or tablet while preparing raw food. Supply a wipe-clean booklet with a useful guide and basic recipes, and get off the “everything needs an app” bandwagon. Edit: Tried 5 times to sign up with a non-personal email address. Never received a confirmation code.
