App is counter-intuitive and a real pain in the wrong place, but I have to use it anyway. I bought 2 UE Megaboom some 2 months ago, trusting the advertiser that they can be combined. I spent a lot of time setting everything up until it worked as it was supposed. The secondary speaker still often returns scratching noises. Then, a few days ago, I couldn't connect them anymore at all, try as I might. After reinstalling the app, it suddenly demanded location access, for which I see absolutely no...

Way better than it used to be! Still there are some features missing such as the option that the app remembers a certain pre-set of how you usually pair your devices. Also an app in the Windows Store would be appreciated in order to watch movies on a laptop with stereo sound from the boom boxes.

After installing this App and upgrading the firmware of the speakers (I own seven Megabooms), I noticed that 3 no longer connect straight away, must always pair again. And worse, with this App you cannot change the settings of the speaker. One important setting "Remote Power" is permanently set to 'On', which means the speaker stays in a standby mode (even with the speaker 'Off', it is discoverable by Bluetooth on your phone). This consumes battery power. You charge the speaker, and after one week, without use, when you turn it on, the charge is at only 80%.... I'm returning to the Megaboom App :(
