I guess this may be good for basic understanding and rhythm practice but it provides zero help to playing in tune - I don't mean whether your guitar is in tune or not (the tuner is reasonable in a pinch) but the app doesn't know whether you're playing the right notes\chord or not. I can set my guitar down and just tap my phone to trigger the success of hitting the notes in the practice sessions. So I'll assume it's using the g-sensor to pick up vibrations to say 'yeah you strummed a string'.

I like the concept and teaching style, but is extremely frustrating when it says that I played a chord correctly, when I haven't even played anything with no background nouse. I don't have much faith in it when telling me if I am correct or not. The song selection is ok, but doesn't have an option to play a more advanced version of it or even the full song. I paid, so will use it, but will use other sources as well and will probably cancel after my sub is finished.

Hey Gabriel 👋 Send us a message through the app or an email at Guitar@hellosimply.com so we could help you with the app's note recognition. We'll be happy to help you access more advanced songs as well. 😊 Hope to hear from you soon. ❤️

Hi, I'm 100% say this app. Sucks, and it actually does not help at all. It teaches you how to flick a single string, and when it gets you to do the test for flicking a string, it doesn't hear it. So I put it on the lowest setting speed possible, and I flicked it for 2 hours straight, and it did not do anything. And it kept on making me, redo the round I would say look for a different app
