I've used this app for a few years now and it's been immensely helpful with memorizing whatever you can digitally write on a flashcards. I primarily use it for memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules in foreign languages but I could see it easily being used for anything you would want to memorize long term. Would recommend anyone studying to at least consider this as an option.

Love the app but new update broke some of my Japanese decks. I get this error when before I didn't: Back template has a problem:Found '{{Kanji}}', but there is no field called 'Kanji'. More information How to fix it? It's commonly found on the katakana section of Japanese flashcards. EDIT: The deck wasn't mine but after renaming the fields everything worked fine. Thanks!

Hi there! Your decks were broken to start unfortunately but only now are we parsing templates more correctly and noticing the imaginary field referenced in the deck. You can either add a "Kanji" field to your card template so it exists when the template uses it, or you can edit your card template to remove the reference to the Kanji field

I've been using Anki since 2019—first for the courses in my biochemistry programme, then for GCE and UTME, and, currently, for the courses featured in my English language major programme. It's been consistently helpful. I would readily give it a 5 stars if it wouldn't stress me out with the "Your AnkiWeb blah blah blah is inaccessible" report every now and then. Nonetheless, I absolutely recommend the app to anyone looking to maximize active recall and spaced repetition.
